Love Lola x started in 2023 with a love of clothes, a big idea and, looking back, absolutely no idea how difficult building a clothing brand would actually be. I genuinely thought I could find beautiful pieces, post them on Instagram and watch the orders roll in. If only it were that simple.

Since then, there have been pop-ups, late nights, packing orders, trying on endless samples, questionable attempts at making Reels, a rebrand, a home renovation, an engagement, a year-long pause and plenty of moments where I wondered whether I should just give it all up.

But I kept coming back to Love Lola x Because underneath all of that, I really do love doing this.

A new chapter

Love Lola x originally began life as Lolita UK, before becoming the brand you see today. And now, after taking some time away, we're entering another new chapter. This time, I'm doing things a little differently.

Rather than trying to have everything, Love Lola x is about carefully curated drops of pieces I genuinely love and would want hanging in my own wardrobe elevated everyday style, beautiful neutrals, great tailoring and those trend-led pieces that make an outfit feel special.

I want Love Lola x to feel like the friend whose wardrobe you always want to borrow from.

The person behind Love Lola x

Behind the website, the parcels and the Instagram account is me — a mum, working a 9–5 while trying to build something of my own.

One of my biggest motivations is my daughter. I'm still manifesting the day Love Lola x grows into the business that gives me the freedom and flexibility to step away from the 9–5 and build a life that works better for my family.

And, perhaps most importantly, to show my daughter that her mum can build something from the ground up, even when it doesn't work perfectly the first, second or third time.

I'm figuring it out as I go.
